Lone Peak took home awards for two corporate projects, one for a Paris-based in-bound contact center, ‘TelePerformance Worldwide” and one for the on-line medical billing company, “Advanced MD”. In addition to that, they also won two awards for a public service television campaign they worked on with PPBH Advertising.

Advanced MD

Advanced MD has built multiple software packages that have become proven solutions for medical practice optimization. Lone Peak was tasked with the challenge of creating an eye-catching on-line video that explained the massive amount of features offered by the Advanced MD suite.

For Fun Festival

TelePerformance, the world leader in the in-bound telecommunications industry, turned to Lone Peak to create a video to solicit employee participation in a worldwide talent show. The video featured an auditorium crowded with fans that were composted from green-screen video around a virtual stage. In addition to a master of ceremonies, the stage featured a freestyle dancer, a band and a ballistic artist to represent the categories of dance, song and art.

Water Safety Campaign

Drowning is the second leading cause of death among Utah children under the age of 14. A small child can drown in as little as an inch of water. To highlight this danger, advertising agency Penna Powers Brian Haynes was hired to create an awareness campaign. Lone Peak Productions was selected in to create two TV spots for statewide broadcast. These spots cleverly showed how there is no substitute for 100% supervision.

Lone Peak creates three television station graphic packages

Lone Peak Productions is working on an hour-long evacuation training video for Oak Ridge National Laboratories and FEMA. To set the stage for what ultimately becomes an area evacuation, the video starts with an accident scenario where a citizen discovers a chemical leak at an industrial facility. Soon, the accident is being reported on the news by three local TV stations.

Later, in the Emergency Operations Center, emergency personnel are monitoring the news coverage on large wall monitors.  In order to achieve this, Lone Peak had to make distinctive branding packages for each station, which included logos, anchor coverage, intros, lower thirds and bumps.  The client was taken aback by the authentic look of the graphics and the fact that they were turned around in one day.

Lone Peak creates incredible logo animations

Non-Stop Music, who creates world class music for film trailers such as the blockbuster hits Narnia, Transformers and the Simpson’s movie, as well as station IDs and TV show themes has come to Lone Peak Productions for some killer logo animations. Lone Peak created six eye-popping logo treatments that match the caliber of Non-Stop’s music. These animations were mixed between movie trailers and other big name projects that Non-Stop composed music for. “It was important to have a logo treatment that felt as big as the content it was being juxtaposed with, and we achieved that”, said Stephen Smith, who created the logo animations.

Lone Peak assembles a 13 episode TV show

Lone Peak Productions is in the process of assembling 13 episodes of the new TV show, “1000cc Raw Thrill” thanks to visionary Executive Producer, James Brown of Salt Lake Studios. “1000cc Raw Thrill” shows off the sportbike lifestyle in a way never seen before. It has the perfect blend of interviews from top industry experts and riders, tech tips and spotlights on the latest gear.

The show is co-hosted by two big names in the industry, Greg White and Erin Bates both of whom have gained fame for their work on the Speed channel. Special guests, like world champs Max Biaggi and Ben Spies, are two big shot motorcycle road racers that appeared on the show, amongst others. The studio portion, directed by Lone Peak, was shot over a week long period in a custom designed set at Salt Lake Studios. Using three Sony XDCAM cameras recording to memory cards has allowed Lone Peak to quickly assemble the episodes in full high-definition.

Once the video acquisition was complete, Lone Peak assembled the footage, sometimes using all three HD equipped edit bays simultaneously. Lone Peak had to manage over 200 hours worth of footage, assemble it into multiple episodes, create unique show graphics and do it all in record time. “We had a limited timeframe to cut each episode and still wanted to maintain a high standard of quality, which is not an easy task. The efficient television work flow that we honed during five years of producing Hot Homes of Utah really compressed our production schedule while maintaining great quality. Its a great show, check it out, it speaks for itself,” said Paul Furner, the main editor on 1000cc Raw Thrill. 1000 cc Raw Thrill is currently available on a number of cable channels serving 60 million households nationally.
