Lone Peak assembles a 13 episode TV show

Lone Peak Productions is in the process of assembling 13 episodes of the new TV show, “1000cc Raw Thrill” thanks to visionary Executive Producer, James Brown of Salt Lake Studios. “1000cc Raw Thrill” shows off the sportbike lifestyle in a way never seen before. It has the perfect blend of interviews from top industry experts and riders, tech tips and spotlights on the latest gear.

The show is co-hosted by two big names in the industry, Greg White and Erin Bates both of whom have gained fame for their work on the Speed channel. Special guests, like world champs Max Biaggi and Ben Spies, are two big shot motorcycle road racers that appeared on the show, amongst others. The studio portion, directed by Lone Peak, was shot over a week long period in a custom designed set at Salt Lake Studios. Using three Sony XDCAM cameras recording to memory cards has allowed Lone Peak to quickly assemble the episodes in full high-definition.

Once the video acquisition was complete, Lone Peak assembled the footage, sometimes using all three HD equipped edit bays simultaneously. Lone Peak had to manage over 200 hours worth of footage, assemble it into multiple episodes, create unique show graphics and do it all in record time. “We had a limited timeframe to cut each episode and still wanted to maintain a high standard of quality, which is not an easy task. The efficient television work flow that we honed during five years of producing Hot Homes of Utah really compressed our production schedule while maintaining great quality. Its a great show, check it out, it speaks for itself,” said Paul Furner, the main editor on 1000cc Raw Thrill. 1000 cc Raw Thrill is currently available on a number of cable channels serving 60 million households nationally.
