Color Correction Services
An added element to Lone Peak Productions' standard post-production services is color correction or color grading. Traditional color correction is often simply changing the hue or contrast in an image or adding a matte. Our technology, however, allows us to actually go into an image, identify a color range, and change or modify that color without affecting the rest of the image. This technology also allows us to selectively control gamma (to make it look more like film), contrast, and brightness. On the surface, this process would appear to simply beautify the footage but it can also change inappropriate color schemes, make "day-for-night," or correct original files. Clearly there is more information in a high-definition file with which to work than in a standard-definition file, but we are able to work with both.
